I am writing this letter in hope that you are in pink of your health and to seek a small favour. I would like to mention that I have enrolled in a 2-year project management course at the university. It came to my attention that you reside around the same town as well.

My postgraduate program will commence in fall of the current year hence, I will be arriving in mid-august. During my tenure, I would love to do some part-time work to gain experience of the Canadian market as well as manage my finances, as it will highly difficult to survive otherwise. According to my timetable, there will be plenty of time for me to be available for evening shifts at any supermarket or restaurants and still have spare time to study.

I humbly request you to assist me in securing a job interview through referrals to potential employers in your knowledge.
