Dear Martin,

I hope you are doing well in Canada.

I’m writing to let you know that I will be coming to your college next month. I have enrolled in the Fitness and Health Promotion program, which lasts for two years, and I will be attending classes four days a week. I understand that you are in the same program and currently in Level 3.

I am actively searching for a job before my arrival so that I can ease my transition. I need a part-time job to help cover my rent and groceries, as I have taken out a loan from the bank for my tuition fees, and I want to avoid putting an additional burden on my parents.

I saw on your LinkedIn profile that you work as a sales associate at Zara. If there are any job openings at your workplace, I would greatly appreciate it if you could refer me or provide some guidance on how to create a strong resume and effectively apply for jobs.
