Dear Ms. Snyder,

I kindly ask your consideration for me to take a vacation for a period of one week in the month at the end of this year. I have been careful in my attendance and participation in my job so as to save my leave days for this holiday to Saudi Arabia. This December will be my only brother’s wedding ceremony and a great joy to my family. It has been dated at the 10th to the 17th of December. I am well aware that there will be more work load during this holiday month so I am suggesting that I take double shifts the week before or after, I will leave that to your judgement, as a chance to make up for my absence. I thank you in advance for your attention and cooperation and I would very much appreciate it if you were to generously accept my leave.
