Dear Ma

I am writing this letter to inform you that I will no longer be working as a volunteer nurse in the community health care facility. I usually assist the staff nurses to attend to the patients who visit the clinic for daily check up and I also administer medications to patients, perform minor dressing and supervise the community health extension workers who work in the facility.

The reason I will not be available is because my family is relocating to another state. I will be moving with them to this new place as am I still dependent on my parents.

However, I have a friend who has experience in clinical work, she recently moved into town with her family and have been searching for an opportunity to work as a volunteer staff in an hospital. I would like to recommend her for the position. She is very hardworking and efficient in caring for patients.

I apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused in the clinic. I would be anticipating a positive response as regards my request for my friend filling my position in the nearest future. Thank you ma for your understanding.
