Band 6+: You have just read an article in an international travel magazine which contained some information about your town that is incorrect. Write a letter to the editor of the magazine. In your letter correct the information in the article explain why it is important for the magazine to give correct information suggest what the magazine should do about this situation

Dear Sir/Madam,

My name is Hussein and I am from Syria, Aleppo, today while reading your international travel magazine I came across an article that contains some misinformation about my home country which I did not find acceptable alt all.

In your article you mentioned that the Aleppo castle was completely destroyed in the ongoing civil war, but in reality the castle is completely fine and did not receive any damge throughout the war.

I believe as a respectable magazine the most importent thing is to provide correct information about real world events, considering that a lot of people trust your information .

I have been reading your magazine for 3 years now, because it always provieds accurate information and through out the years I have never found any inconsistensy in you storys, therefore, I think in the next issue you should add a short article explaining this mistake and you should provide the correct information.
