Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my concern subjected to the construction of a shopping complex in St. Thomas Street.
Last Sunday, when I was flicking through the pages of a local newspaper, an article having pictures of a skyscraper building had engrossed my attention. It was the moment when I came to know about this upcoming project of a real estate company in my residential area. Despite feeling excited for building of a shopping mall, I am much worried.
Hopefully, you might be aware that this locality is already over-populated; therefore, there is not enough land for such a massive construction. If the plan goes through, our houses would be overshadowed. Additionally, the children of our area might get deprived of the little space they have to play owing to this plan. Overall, it could adversely disrupt many peaceful lives.
Considering all the facts, it would be highly appreciated provided that you could halt this project for the sake of residents there. The relocation of the construction site to a commercial area probably be a much better option.
Looking forward to your positive response.
Yours faithfully,
John Mathew.
