Dead JohnI am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the bathroom renovation work carried out at my home at Kerepesi Utca6 . Unfortunately, the quality of the work and the repeated delays have fallen well short of what was agreed upon in our contract.
To begin with, there are several issues with the workmanship that are unacceptable. The wall tiles have been unevenly installed, with visible gaps in the grout, and some tiles are already loose. The shower door does not close properly, which has resulted in water leaking onto the floor. In addition, the paint finish is patchy, and the sealant around the bathtub has been poorly applied, leaving gaps that could lead to water damage.
In addition to these quality concerns, the project has experienced significant delays. The renovation was originally scheduled to be completed by 7th january, yet it is now 8th january and the work is still unfinished. These delays have caused considerable inconvenience to my household, as we have been without a functional bathroom for extended periods. This has disrupted our daily routines and, on several occasions, forced us to make alternative arrangements at additional cost and inconvenience.
Given these issues, I expect you to take prompt action to rectify the situation. Specifically, I request that all defective work be corrected to a professional standard, the remaining tasks be completed without further delay, and a revised completion date be provided in writing. I would also appreciate a discussion regarding appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and additional expenses caused by the delays.
Please contact me within the next 12 days to confirm how you intend to resolve these matters. I hope we can reach a satisfactory resolution as soon as possible.
Yours sincerely,
Raul
