Band 6+: You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. Last week you were on a flight to London. Unfortunately, when you got off the plane, you left a bag there. You did not remember about the bag until you got to your hotel. Write a letter to the airline. In your letter explain what has happened describe the bag and its contents say what you would like them to do about this problem You should write at least 150 words. You do NOT need to write any addresses. Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing this letter for a bag I left on a flight to London last week with your airline.

Last week, I was on the flight CX535 from Hong Kong to London with your airline. The flight was slightly delayed and the arrival time was 1 hour later than the schedule time. I was in a rush to catch the transit flight to Edinburgh. Luckily, I was able to make it but I left my bag at the pocket of the front seat, which the seat number should be 35A.

My bag is a hand-sized leather bag in brown colour. A white cat with blue eyes is printed on one side of the bag while my initial “A.C.” is printed on the other side of the bag. There are some costmetic products like lipsticks, eyeshadows & foundations inside the bag.

I am appreciated that if your company could help to retrieve the bag and mail it to my hotel in Edinburgh as I will still stay there for 2 more weeks. The name of my hotel is Edinburgh Whiskey Hotel. However, we could further discuss if mailing may not be an option for you.
