Overall, underground disposal is the most prevalent approach in the UK and Sweden, whereas in the Republic of Korea recycling is the major way of managing this problem. It is also noteworthy that the UK employs a greater variety of waste treatment methods.
In Korea, recycling is responsible for the most significant share of dangerous waste at 69%, while smaller 22% is spent on underground respectively. Remaining 8% is dealt with by incineration.
On the other hand in Sweden, the largest proportion of contributions is buried underground at 55%. A little less than a half, recycling accounts for 25% whereas incineration forms the remaining 20%.
