The tables illustrate the average speed of vehicles in an urban city and a total amount of urban areas per country across 9 different countries between 1970 and future prediction.
Overall, chart A demonstrates that all 9 countries experienced fluctuations in the value of average speed. While it illustrates that some countries witnessed a decrease in the value by future estimation, other countries ,on the contrary, underwent an increase. Chart B depicts that the majority of the countries have expanded their urban territory in the future prediction.
In the first table some countries, namely France, the USA, the UK, Russia and Canada have experienced a decline in the value of average speed, standing at 60, 48, 54 and 69 kilometers per hour in 1970 and 52, 43, 47 and 64 kilometers per hour in 2020est, respectively. As for the other countries, they, conversely, have witnessed a growth in the value over a fifty-year period.
Regarding the second chart, majority of the countries saw a rise in the value of urban territory, with the USA reaching the largest amount, accounting for 38 and 128.2 in 1970 and 2020est, respectively. Despite an upward trend in the value, Russia underwent a decline, commencing at 6.7 thousands in 1970 and 3.2 thousands in the future.
