Overall, higher percentage of females rode bicycles compared to males in all age groups. Furthermore, half of residents between the age of 0-9 rode bicycles.
On one hand, 51% of females from the ages of 0 to 9 rode bicycles, which the higher than any other age group. Similarly, 42% women ride bicycles between 10-17 age, which fell sharply to 17.1% for women between 18-39 age. This decline continued for women between 40-59, where the percentage dropped to 12.3%. Finally, for people above 60, nearly 18.5% percent women rode bicycles, 6% increase to previous age group.
On the other hand, 50% of males between 0-9 age rode bicycles, presenting a similar trend to that of females. Between 10-17, only 24% males ride bicycles, which is 18% less compared to females of the same age group. It further dropped sharply to 9.7% for men between 18-39 age group, after which only 1% decline was recorded for men between 40-59. Finally, for people above 60, nearly 13.2% percent men rode bicycles, 5% increase to that of previous age group.
