Band 6+: Your company has recently introduced a new uniform for the staff. But you have learned that the staff members are not happy about it. Write a letter to your manager about it. In your letter, • explain why you think the staffs are not happy with the new uniform • what you want the new uniform to be like • and give some suggestions to handle the situation

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express staff’s dissatisfaction with the new uniforms that they have been given recently.

Yesterday, in our weekly huddle, labours were discussing about their unhappiness about the new uniform. And I decide to bring this to your attention. Apparently, the main issue with them is their inaccurate sizes. most of uniforms are too tight even for those with small size. Needless to say, the new colour is not suitable for the job as it easily gets dirty and the company are always in shortage of uniforms, so it would be impossible to change them more often.

As per our conversation yesterday, we would be happy to wear a darker uniform with quite larger fit to makes all feel comfortable while working.

I suggest ordering a bigger sample of each size for trial. After confirming the size and colour we can order them in huge amount. I also advise to choose dark colour this time such as dark grey or green.
