Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing to you to express my sadness regarding the planning of closing the sports and leisure centre in our community in order to save money.
As part of the local community, the moment I knew that this centre was built in our barangay, honestly, I was very happy for the reason that people especially the children in our community can use this centre as their training ground whenever there are upcoming games or contests. As someone who loves sport, I always visit the centre with my family and friends to either play volleyball or dance Zumba inside. There are lots of children in our village loves to play, and this centre is a good place for them because it is located near their homes.
I believe, this gym is very important not only for me and my family but also for all the people living in our local community especially for the children and young people because they are the ones who are very active in sports and leisure that’s why this place have already a big part in their lives. This will also help the neighborhood be united because they get the opportunity to meet new people and connect with them.
There are two possible effects when this centre closes. One, many children will be heartbroken because they are the ones who always play inside, this would be a negative effect for them because this will cause them to question the people in power why they are closing places that gives good benefits for them. Secondly, parents will be worried because their children might discover new habits if this will surely be close. It might be a good or bad habits.
I hope you will not push through with this plan, I believe there are many ways to save money for our community by not cutting the happiness of the people in our society.
