The table provides statistical data of the percentage of available 5G network, the average download speed and proportion of 5G mobile users in the year 2021 of five countries namely South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Netherlands, China, and United States.
Overall, the United States has the highest availability of 5G network, while China had the least. In contrast, the United States has the lowest download speed and percentage of users.
The United States has 49.2% availability of 5G network making it the highest, followed by Netherlands, South Korea and Saudi Arabia with 45.1% , 43.8%, and 35.5% respectively. However, China has the lowest availability of 5G Network with only 19.8%.
Moreover,Saudi Arabia has the fastest download speed of 377.2 Mbps and South Korea has a download speed of 377.2 Mbps, making it the second fastest. In contrast, South Korea had the most number of 5G network mobile users – 22%, followed by Saudi Arabia with 17%. The Netherlands and the United States have the lowest percentage of 5G network phone users with a mere 4%. However, the Netherlands has a higher download speed of 77.2Mbps than compared to the United States having only 52.3 Mbps which is the slowest among the five nations. Additionally, China has a moderate 113.1 Mbps download speed and 11% 5G network mobile users.
