The charts illustrate the mean percentages of sodium, saturated fats and added sugar which people of USA typically consume in their meals. The data is calculated by taking reference of breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks which people of United States consume.
The first chart shows the average percentage of sodium. Dinner contains the most in sodium by 43%. Breakfast and snacks contain equal proportion in soidum by 14% respectively.Lunch contains 29% of the sodium. The second chart shows the saturated fat where dinner contains 37% the most. Lunch contributes the consumption of 26%, where the consumption of snacks at saturated fat abut 21%. Accordingly, the less amount contains 16% of breakfast on saturated fat.
The last chart illustrates the average proportions of added sugar. Snacks contains the highest amount of meals consumed of added sugar. Dinner contains the proportion of added sugar by 23%. Lunch contains 19% of added sugar, where the breakfast contains less amount of proportion of added sugar by 16%. At all diagram shows that every typical meal consumed in the USA contains a percentage of at least 14% of nutrients that can be unhealthy if eaten too much.
