To begin with, sodium was consumed at 43 percent in the breakfasts of US people, while it was consumed at 14 percent in their dinners and snacks, respectively. As for lunches, 29 percent of sodium was consumed.
Moving to saturated fats, breakfasts had the highest rate of the nutrient, followed by lunch and snacks at 21 percent and 26 percent, respectively. Saturated fats were least consumed at dinner, at16 percent.
Lastly, added sugars were mostly present in snacks, with a high percentage rate of 42 percent. They were consumed by fewer USA individuals, at 19 percent and 23 percent respectively, in their lunches and dinners, while they were least added in their breakfasts, making it 16 percent.
