In modern society, housework should be distributed equally for both female and male, because all two genders have to work full-time. This essay will discuss why I completely agree with this statement.
The first reason is that sharing household chores can reduce life pressure for both genders. This is because sharing it enables people to reduce the amount of housework that one person has to do. For example, if one person has to do all the housework alone, such as cleaning house, preparing meals, and doing the laundry, this can waste from two to three hours. Meanwhile, this amount of time can be shortened to an hours by dividing the household chores uniformly between men and women. As a result, after a stressful workday, people may have more time to relax and unwind.
The second one is that distributing this work evenly for both women and men can create a special opportunity for people to strengthen their relationships with family members, especially between husband and wife. Working full-time can make people’s schedule become hectic, so they have no time left for their partner. This can lead to the misunderstanding and disconnection between wife and husband. Therefore, when they share housework with their partner, they can have more chances to confide in to understand the other more deeply.
In conclusion, reducing life pressure and building stronger bonds among family members, especially the relationship between wife and husband, are the benefits that sharing household chores equally can provide to both male and female.
