In this day and age, people have a tendency to use technological devices to write and note, so traditional handwriting has become less common. There are various reasons for this trend, and I believe that while it can offer some drawbacks, it is generally a positive development.
The main reason why handwriting is declining is the rapid advancement of technology. Technological devices such as computers and smartphones nowadays have become increasingly popular, these allow people to enhance the writing speed and convenience than writing by hand. In school and workplace, digital documents have replaced handwritten notes because they are easier to edit, share and store. Moreover, the popularity of messaging apps and social media has encouraged people to communicate instantly, making handwriting seem slow and unnecessary in the modern world.
Digital documents bring several benefits, but they also offer significant drawbacks for people. Firstly, It can make the documents become clearly, easier to read than handwriting, and suitable for formal purpose. Because technological documents are often written with classic and coherent styles and fonts. Simultaneously, easier to share, store, adjust and decorate are foremost advantages, which make technological documents convenient. By contrast, traditional writing brings emotions, minimums eye diseases, and actively remembers knowledge in students. In Vietnam, notebooks and pens is the vital school items because when studying, writing by hand help learners remember lectures for a long time.
To sum up, the decrease in traditional writing makes students active in studying, but digital documents offer clear and convenient. In my view, the common of technological writing not only stems from the rapid development, but also from their convenience.
