Natural habitats have been affected seriously by human activities. Some people argue that it is not necessary to protect it anymore, meanwhile, others think that we still have time to take action to make our planet better. Although both views hold merit, I am more convinced by the latter perspective.
On the one hand, some reasons why someone thinks it is too late to do anything. Numerous natural diseases that already happen annually around the world, the most severe problem is deforestation ruining plenty of shelters for wild animals and sources of food for them and leaving many serious consequences behind such as a lack of forests can lead to flood and soil erosion. Moreover, millions of trees have been felled to have room for farming; As a consequence, there is little space left for forests and crops, and most of them were built into accommodations for people and others can not restored.
On the other hand, our natural habitats can be recovered as well as each individual is aware of the problems and try their best to solve them. Currently, many organizations have already put efforts to raise awareness of people about protecting the environment through social media by posting videos and articles about how this planet is being destroyed by humans. In that way, we also can encourage everyone to use environmentally friendly things and reduce using plastic items. For instance, using silk bags instead of plastic bags, and opting for walking or cycling over driving are way to reduce pollution. Therefore, we can contribute greatly to the decline of a significant number of natural diseases just through some simple acts.
In conclusion, although there are controversial opinions on whether humans still have time or whether it is too late to take action to protect our surroundings, I believe that we always have
time to start protecting our earth from just basic things and it can lead to a better future life.
