Around the globe, initiating a traffic tax,has been proposed as a step to curb the ever-esculating traffic congestion. Despite valid financial conserns along with the ongoing traffic problem in the long -run, in my view ,this proposal is a change for the better , as it can lead to a cleaner environment and, more efficient public transportation system.
Admittedly, implementing a congestion tax, especcialy during peak periods, comes with its set of challenges. From an economic point of view ,those from underprevileged backgrounds may graplle with a heavy financial strain. If this idea is put into action succesfully .As opposed to high -earners who can take the adventage of taxed roads, the poor can not afford them, thus exasberating their existing monetary issues.A good case in point is Taxi drivers whose main income is related to travelling such roads, making it difficult for them to make a livehood.Additionally, even if drivers are taxed to use toll roads, they are more likely to opt for alternative options in order to avoid any unnecessary expanses, which could ,in turn contribute to a rise in traffic jams on local roads ,eventually perpetuating the cycle of urban congestion.
In spite of above-mentioned obstacles, I remain convinced that a congestion tax does more good than harm. This course of action contributes to a scenario in which the reduction of private vehicles is promised and public transportation is promoted ,thereby minimizing the damage to the environment. This can also result in deacresed traffic congestion on sprawling highways-condition that mitigates air pollution. In a world characterized by various environmental hazards ,executing this practice can play an instrumental role in terms of dealing with certain problems like air and noise pollution.Even more importantly ,the revenue generated through this taxation can better be channeled into the enhancement of public transportation networks and road infrustructure, both of which enables travellers enjoy commuting experience. In a world characterized by various environmental hazards ,executing this practice can play an instrumental role in terms of dealing with certain problems like air and noise pollution.Even more importantly the revenue generated through this taxation can be better channeled into the enhancement of public transportation networks and road infrastructure, both of which enable travelers enjoy commuting experience.
In summary, Although traffic tax poses financial difficulties as well as sustain traffic jams, I contend that only by implementing this proposal can we prevent environmental issues and improve public transportation system.
