From my perspective, both groups need to be appreciated, particularly the younger generation.

Furthermore, older people often act as pillars within families, offering emotional support to their offspring. In some Eastern countries, particularly China, the elderly play a central role in special occasions such as the Spring Festival, where the joy of reuniting can be extented with the presence of the old people. However, if we focus excessively on the elderly community, we might become immersed in a sedentary atmosphere, potentially impeding societal development to some extent.
It is a widely held belief that young people are the future of a country since they constitute the primary labor force responsible for creating a prosperous and strong nation. Specifically, the younger generation possesses abundant creativity and productivity, both of which hold significant importance across various facets of society. To illustrate, numerous revolutionary inventions such as game boxes, smartphones, and washing machines have been invented by young community. It is no wonder that there is an idiom saying youth as the most vivid period in one’s life.
In conclusion, while elderly individuals hold great value within families, the younger generation contributes more significantly to both family and society in the long term. Albeit essential, the youth should be educated to respect the elderly community to avoid being insolent and impolite and to make substantial contributions.
