People have different views about the factors impact on success in sports. While hard practicing to be stronger is considered as an important step to become successful in sport. To some extent, I would argue that spirit health is more important for gaining success in physical activities.
On the one hand, it can be argued that being strong and fit is a crucial necessity. Often doing exercises makes the body more flexible and tightens your muscles. If some individuals practice regularly, it can help their body increase accuracy, speed and coordination. Moreover, their physique adapts to high-working intensity. Therefore, when people come across arduous challenges in sport competitions, their body gets used to hard conditions so this makes them able to reach the finish line easier.
On the other hand, I believe that the stronger mental health one person has, the more successful he or she is. According to a scientific experiment of Concord university in the USA, when people concentrate on organizing their mind, filling it with optimistic spirit and happiness, they can improve their cognitive and willingness to face any obstacle they meet. In addition, a bunch of encouraging words and advice can reduce anxiety and enhance their confidence. For example, when participants are encouraged by their relatives and friends, they seem to be less nervous and positive, regardless how strong the competitors are.
In conclusion, while I recognise being strong and fit is essential to success in sport, I consider keeping mental strength plays an important role in the way to get booming results.
