For companies, few things are more important than advertising. Many individuals believe that advertisements play a vital role in what people purchase, whereas others argue that consumers are rarely influenced by them. Although both views have strong arguments, I strongly believe that ads ensure a significant role in consumers buying decisions.
In many developed and developing countries a substantial amount of money is allocated by companies for digital advertising to attract people. These are not only for attractions but also give sufficient information about products, as a result, customers do not need to waste their valuable time for searching products. Nowadays, smart organisations are choosing social media platforms for the advertising because more than 60% population around the global share their thoughts, ideas, and personal experience there. Consequently they can use these data to create informative ads to influence people and surprisingly consumers become the easiest target.
Moreover, big corporations like pepsico, Coke, Unilever, and so on make their advertisements with popular figures such as footballers, cricketers, and film star’s who have great influence on people’s lives. The best example would be Cristiano Ronaldo. During a press conference, once he removed the bottle of Coke and placed a bottle of water. Therefore, the demand of that water increased and became popular in many countries. Hence, this popularity of certain human are taken by big companies to spread there products.
Therefore, the notion of advertising is always appealing. Sometimes they may promote exaggerate and fake informations but most of the time they try to deliver the truth. However, it is the responsibility of people to evaluate the role them and determine whether they will do more harm than good.
