Due to technological evolution, a huge number of workers are able to carry out their job activities from home. Some individuals believe that there are no benefits for owners, only for employees. I completely disagree with this opinion and believe that telecommuting is beneficial for both employers and employees.
First of all, through telecommuting, employers can achieve a better work-life balance. They can fulfill their job responsibilities from home while spending time with their family members. They have the flexibility to travel anywhere, anytime as they wish. For example, I recently read a story in the newspaper about a blogger who works as a Sales Admin for a company. His role involves collecting data from the marketing field force, but he doesn’t need to go into the office. He simply carries his laptop to perform his official tasks and travels from one nation to another with his family, creating travel videos that he shares on social media.
Secondly, a key advantage is that employers do not require a physical office, allowing them to save a significant amount of money. Maintaining an office would incur various expenses such as rent, utilities, and maintenance costs. By embracing telecommuting, owners can save a substantial amount of money that can be reinvested in other aspects of the business or used for business development.
Lastly, modern technology has made the lives of both employees and employers much easier. Employees can connect with their loved ones more easily, while employers can save money that can be allocated towards business improvement and expansion.
