In today’s world, environmental issues have become a pressing topic. Unfortunately, only a small number of individuals genuinely care about this problem. I completely agree with this observation, and I will share my personal views on the matter in this essay.
To begin with, I believe that people are often too preoccupied with their own lives to pay attention to their surroundings. For instance, adults in Japan typically work between 8 to 10 hours a day, and they prefer to spend their remaining time nurturing personal relationships rather than engaging with social issues. Additionally, people are bombarded with news about the environment on a daily basis, which can lead to desensitization. As a result, many consider environmental problems to be normal and unworthy of concern.
Furthermore, the reliance on fossil fuels and gas is prevalent in our society. For example, cars and motorbikes are essential tools for many people’s daily lives. Moreover, factories often emit harmful gases into the atmosphere, contributing to air pollution and respiratory issues among the population.
In conclusion, it is evident that many individuals lack sufficient concern for environmental issues, which worsens the condition of our planet each day. However, I believe that this trend can change if the government takes serious action by implementing strict laws, and if citizens actively adhere to those regulations.
