Humans live in a society. No one can live alone. When a person lives in a society, they can play different roles. Sometimes people play positive roles, while others may create violence. Individuals who become involved in crimes such as kidnapping, murder, and terrorism are harmful to society.
Every country has its own legislation, and those who commit violent crimes face punishment under the laws. The most extreme punishment is the death penalty, which is given to individuals who have committed acts of extreme cruelty. However, in my opinion, there are both advantages and disadvantages to the death penalty.
A person who repeatedly commits crimes is referred to as a criminal. If someone willingly commits murder or has a specific intent in their actions, the death penalty may be seen as acceptable. This is because the imposition of such a penalty on one person may serve as a deterrent to others who might consider engaging in similar criminal behavior.
On the other hand, if a person commits a crime accidentally, the death penalty is not acceptable in this situation. It would be unjust to punish them in such a severe manner. In these cases, a respected judge should carefully consider many factors before making a decision.
In conclusion, it can be said that capital punishment, like the death penalty, can be both acceptable and unacceptable depending on the circumstances.
