Well, some individuals think that conventional classroom learning can be replaced by digital education because it’s becoming more popular and favoured. Some of them don’t think so. I’ll discuss both views and make a conclusion.
On one hand, if online education replace conventional, citizens will have more free time due to saving it by passing their way to the place of studying and flexible learning schedules. It’s very convenient because people will have wider access to education and all materials can be on their tables or laptops. For instance it’s able to write there, download some books or workbooks. Therefore the main reason is that online learning platforms are really cost-effective. Most schools or universities take a really big amount of money for offline.
On the other hand, traditional classroom setting is irreplaceable, and there are lots of reasons. The first one is social interaction skills. The public should communicate with each other to establish their speaking abilities and self-confidence. Also, people can have real-time feedback and ask their instructors vital questions almost instantly. As well, collaborative learning takes a crucial part of conventional education. Students can make more progress and learn many new things working together. So, the most important thing is academic discipline. When students are at home, they can relax and do nothing instead of overcoming the indolence and start practising something new.
In my view the balanced approach would be uniting both ways of education because they look perfectly together. For example, books can be changed to tablets. It’ll make bags lighter, and access to educational materials will become wider. I believe one day educational institutions will cultivate online studying for sick people or if they can’t commute to school owing to weather. Well, these ways are definitely symbiotic, and I guess, in future my desires will be implemented.
