Few individuals are of the opinion that death sentence should be prescribed for criminals while other school of taught are arguing that it should not be applied. Today, the justice system is now stronger than ever to deal with law breakers who are unrepentant. The police are regularly on patron on every streets, corners of our cities communities to ensure they curb criminalism despite their concerted effort some persos still commit offence. Killing a convicted thief may not outrightly stop offenders ,but that would serve as a deterent to others who intending onces. if caught can go along way to reduce wrong doing. For instance.In Mexico ,report has it that there are over a thousand five people who were to face firing squad from various prisons acroos the country to serve as a warm for others ,as we speak five hundred of such onces have been executed.
Each year, there hundreds of thousand cases of people who are incarcerated of various crime on a daily basis . For example, in nigerian police system , there are an average of 10 people arrested for crimedaily this record is an un disputed fact.Mreover, some imprisoned individual have been rehabilitated and radually integrated into communities which is awelcomed development.
I fully condemn evil and i believe that law breakers should be punished, however am of the opinion that capital punishment should not be the last resort because it is often said that one thing permanet in life is change.
