Certain people claim that the primary objective of higher education is to facilitate graduates in securing enhanced employment opportunities. Conversely, others contend that the scope of university education extends beyond mere vocational prospects, containing wide advantages for both individuals and society.
It is certainly true that one of the main purposes of universities is to provide higher-quality job opportunities. Academy education plays a vital role in enhancing skill sets and fostering heightened awareness both of which are invaluable assets in the business world. For example, the general trend indicates that a substantial majority of individuals with university degrees are frequently associated with better jobs which make a higher wage. Thus, a higher salary provides elevated circumstances of living.
However, there exist additional benefits for both person and society. Primarily, students who are entering adulthood socialize by meeting new people and experiencing the development of themselves as personal across various spheres. As a result, their maturity and confidence will grow enabling them to live more fulfilling lives. Furthermore, graduates of educational institution significantly contribute to the advancement and evolution of their society. Beyond their economic impact, university graduates are partly responsible for reaching their countries toward modern civilization standards, particularly in areas such as science, law and health.
Therefore, I believe that although the main aim of a Academy discipline is to get the best job, there are clearly further benefits. If we continue to promote and encourage university attendance, it will lead to a greater future and happiness for individuals and society.
