It is often argued that tourism should be stopped in some locations in order to protect their cultures, whereas this action is also unnecessary due to multiple transformations that will happen to them regardless. Although implementing various changes from others is also important to keep up with the current regulations, banning tourists from travelling to certain areas could help domestic people develop and restore their culture using local traditions without any disturbance.
To begin with, it is not really important to prohibit visitors from travelling to sacred locations for certain people, owing to the changes that will happen to locals as well. In the end, they would also have to follow the rules made by the government to keep up with the times. For example, villages in Vietnam are slowly opening and keeping up towards other people and making them slightlyy up to date with many events in life.
In contrast, I believe that banning foreigners from visiting traditional places could be useful for locals to fix and protect their cultures. The reason behind this opinion is because tourists nowadays travel to sacred areas without any knowledge, so they would most likely do whatever they like to entertain themselves, which leads to a large amount of destruction. For instance, many foreigners who travel to Bali, Indonesia are not familiar with the culture and religious traditions and ruin a huge number of worship places. Because of that, the government is currently trying to minimise tourists from visiting certain locations. Therefore, taking serious action is needed for repairing and developing domestic locations.
To sum up, I believe that it is better to have some specific tourism boundaries for special traditional places, so their citizens can restore and grow their cultures, than allowing visitors to continue their action because of different transformations.
