It is a point of debate that weather females should be considered equal to men when recruiting for police services and armed forces, or they are less suitable for these types of jobs. In my opinion, being in armed forces and police is not only about physical strength but also about being strong mentally. I believe that women should be given equal opportunities. This essay will discuss both viewpoints in detail.

To begin with, some folks believe that one needs to be physically fit and strong for jobs like army and police. Hence, They believe that it is important for men to dominate this industry because they are biologically more muscular than womens. Moreover, police officers deals with sensitive crimes like murders, kidnapping. Which can be traumatic for some. According to an article published in times magazine by UNICEF, it states that post traumatic stress disorder is severe in females when compared to males.

On the other hand, some folks believe that women should be given equal opportunity when applying these jobs because having them in the team can possess many benefits. According to a survey, done on once kidnapped teenage victims , states that when they were released by the kidnappers they were comfortable to be with female officers than being with male constables.

In my opinion, It is crucial that women should be given equal opportunities
