In modern times, an increasing number of people are becoming vegetarians due to their healthy concerns and personal preferences. They view consuming vegetables as a solo right option, eschewing meat entirely. While this veganism phenomenon is sometimes valid in certain aspects, I believe that a balanced diet is pre-dominantly important for people’s good health.
One of the primary reasons why vegans adhere to not opting for any meat food lies in their personal preferences. These people are more inclined to have serious considerations for animal protection, as eating meat means eating animals, leading to a massive kill of them. Furthermore, these vegans’ inclination to eschew meat also stems from their understanding of health and nutrition. They contend the nutrients human body needs can be adequately obtained by plants or vegetables, which is I think what nutrition experts disagree on.
In my opinion, it is extremely crucial for most people to maintain a balanced diet, as the necessary energy and nutrition are derived not only from vegetables but also from meat. For example, animal meat can provide many types of essential nutrients that may be not found in plant-based foods, such as complete protein. This substance can provide supple all the essential amino acids for protein synthesis, effectively contributing to people’s overall strength and well-being. Therefore, whether individuals prefer meat over vegetables or vice versa is not the ideal option for optimal nutrition and health. Additionally, people should avoid excessive meat consumption; otherwise, they would face potential health risks, such as overweight or weight gain.
In conclusion, while some people assert not eating meat as the only right decision aligned with their personal tendencies, I strongly hold this idea that well-rounded diets are essential for most individuals. Ultimately, it is wrong that personal inclination overshadows scientific knowledge and evidences when making informed dietary choices.
