Some people believe that modern devices like cell phones are becoming barriers to social relationships. Personally, I totally support this opinion, since day by day people are getting addicted to their mobile phones and step by step the real interaction is being replaced by social media.
First and foremost, by the reason of telephones makes easy our life in most aspects, cell phone users are hardly put it away for even several seconds. Smartphones offer a wide range of functionalities beyond just calling and texting. They serve as personal organisers, with calendars and reminders that help us manage our schedules efficiently. With access to the internet, smartphones become powerful tools for information retrieval, enabling us to quickly look up answers, read news, and even conduct research on the go. They also provide entertainment through music, videos, games, and social media, making them a constant source of engagement.
On the other other hand, these days social media is supplanting any kind of face to face interaction. It is such a pity, but I should admit that people do not miss each other anymore. Video calls provide an opportunity to instant communicate with relatives and friends on a day-to-day basis. By doing this, a feeling of nostalgia for someone, also the effect of great distance between them disappears. Realising that people can keep in touch any time, phone users delve into social media where they can follow the life of others including celebrities.
In conclusion, since smart devices became an integral part of our daily life, humanity has started partially forgetting about the need for social interaction. The opportunities offered by technologies made our souls blind and distance us from sincere communication over a cup of tea.
