Some individuals think that history do not bring any benefit, while others states that it can help people to be up to date.
Personally, I believe that learning history brings us a lot of benefits.
On the one hand, learning history can lead to massive number of conflicts. This is because history is hard, and it can be resulted in getting not appropriate information. It is likely to happen among youngsters, as most of them do not dive into history fully, they do not understand topic clearly. Consequently, they think that their places were belonged to other nation, or reverse, after which they may get negative conclusion about that country. For example, nowadays, most of youngsters learn history from the short videos in social media, and get different information, after which they make conflicts with other people in commentaries under the video. Thus, as history is sophisticated subject, it should be learnt fully, as a lot of conflicts may result in learning briefly.
However, I believe that history is good for the present and future. This is because we can learn from our mistakes made in history, and try to avoid them. When we look at the past, we can understand at which position what went wrong, and we will try not to repeat that mistake again in the future. For example, learning history explains us not to trust everybody, which happened in World War 2 when Germany broke the act which was signed by both Germany and Sovet Union. Finally, study of history can help us to avoid possible future problems.
In conclusion, learning of history is good as it helps to prevent future possible problems, but unless it is clearly thought, it may result in conflicts, especially among youngsters.
