It is often argued that large companies and indutries should relocate from huge nig cities to regional or countryside areas. From my perspective, the advantges of this development outweigh the drawbacks due to it can reduce pressure on urban centers and create economic opportunities in less developed regions.
The abvious diadvantage of this development is the environmental damage. Factories and industrial facilities can increase air and water pollution in rural areas, which are often cleaner and more peaceful than cities. As a result, the local forest, animals, and agricultural land may be negatively affected. Another drawbacks is that some companies could struggle to finde skilled employees, modern facilities, and infrastructure in local countriside areas. Consequently, companies need to allocate large amount of money on employee training, transportation, and infrastructure development.
On the other hand, the benefits of this trend are much more significant. Firstly, moving companies away from cities reduces traffic congestion, overcrowding, and pollution in urban areas. An increasing number of crowded cities are already facing serious problems related to population growth, as a result, relocating indutries could improve the quality of life for city residents. Secondly, this benefit bring economic benefits to regional areas because these developments lead to new job opportunites and encourage investment. To illustrate, an increasing number of Azerbaijani local industrial companies and industrial facilities have been relocated to the Karabakh regions in recent years, as a result, supporting economic development and create new employment opportunities there. Furthermore, governments may improve infrastructure such as roads, hospitals, schools in these regions, leading to overall well-being for citizens.
To conclude, while relocating large companies to regional areas may cause environmental challenges, l believe that the benefits outweigh the disadvantages because it can solve urban issues and support regional developments.
