Many people argue that learning practical skills considered essential than learning academic subjects at school. I completely agree with this view because it can enhance students’ knowledge and real word practical experience.
Firstly, Learning practical skills at school broaden students’ knowledge. Learning only academic subjects make students unaware about use of those skills that are crucial and became part of daily life. For instance, there are a lot of students that have known how about computers but only limited to academic, they even have not any idea towards usage of it and the skills it required. It is because they are totally relied on academic rather than adopting practical skills, limited to only academic subjects is futile without acquiring practical change.
Furthermore, having practical experience boosts confidence and the level of competency in individual’s practical life and to survive in this world. It opens wide options of opportunity as well as in personal and professional life. For example, a survey was conducted that 95% organization along with other institution whether academic or professional requires, years of experience along with education, with more advanced IT skills. And makes those ineligible with only limited to academic knowledge. Therefore to it is curial to acquire practical knowledge along with skills to compete and make one eligible in whether academic, scholarships or competitive job market.
In conclusion, learning practical skills at school should be necessary while making students more competitive, and to deal with real life practical hurdles, rather than limited to only academic. Therefore, I strongly believe that this approach should be adopted widely.
