It is widely argued that the application of modern technology in agriculture is the superior approach, while many contend that traditional farming is more beneficial. This essay will closely examine both viewpoints before showing my final thought.

On the one hand, using scientific techniques can produce genetically modified foods, which helps increase the quantity and the quality of products. Plants are resistant to pests and diseases, so they can grow more healthily and require fewer chemicals. Also, irrigation systems controlled by automatic robots can operate based on temperature and weather conditions to increase or reduce the amount of water supplied to crops. In addition, technology plays a crucial role in supporting countries and regions that struggle with agriculture. For example, Singapore, a small but densely populated nation, uses vertical farming systems that allow people to produce fresh vegetables in high-rise buildings. This method can ensure a stable food supply regardless of the weather or lack of traditional farmland. As a result, scientific techniques can improve the quality of food, making them safer for consumers and meet market demnds

On the other hand, natural methods of food production are also valued for their long-term benefits. To begin with, organic agriculture has become an increasingly popular trend as the food produced is more nutritious and often tastes better. By using natural processes and absorbing minerals from fertile soil, crops grow in a healthier and more sustainable way, which helps protect people from diseases caused by chemical substances. Moreover, natural farming also contributes to environmental protection and prevents soil compaction. It eliminates the dependence on chemical fertilizers and pesticides which are the reasons of the loss of microorganisms. As a result, this method is more eco-friendly compared to conventional farming and reduces water pollution

In conclusion, I believe that both scientific techniques and natural farming bring advangtages that support the agricultural field. Therefore, people should consider to apply suitable approach to increase crop yields and get maximum efficiency.
