It is considered by some that international collaboration is the key to securing the environment, while there are others who think that firms mostly make profit out of it. This essay will discuss both perspectives, and I will share my opinion on the primary advantage of global cooperation.
On the one hand, many people think international cooperation has a huge positive impact on environment protection. Issues like climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss are global problems that no single country can tackle alone. International agreements, such as the Paris Agreement, unite countries in reducing carbon emissions and ensuring sustainable practices. This collaborative approach provides funding, expertise, and regulatory frameworks that enable nations to protect the planet more effectively. For this reason, I believe that international cooperation primarily impacts on solving global problems of our planet.
On the other hand, many argue that international cooperation has been a significant driver for business growth. Trade agreements and organizations like the WTO have enabled businesses to access international markets and expand their reach. For instance, reduced tariffs and free trade zones allow companies to import and export goods more affordably, encouraging economic growth and increasing employment opportunities. For this reason I also believe that international cooperation is a good tool to expand profits and benefit for both parties economic growth.
In conclusion, while international cooperation undeniably supports business expansion, its greatest impact is in environmental protection. Collaborative efforts to address global environmental issues are essential for ensuring a sustainable future for both society and business.
