In our rapidly changing world water has become less than in the past. People are increasingly divided about whether the government should control the supply of water, while others believe that people may use water as much as they want. I am of the opinion that, the government should control with strict rules to save environmental water for future generation. This essay will examine the major points for and against the given statement.
To begin with there are several convincing reasons why controlling water supply might be beneficial for environment. The most notable point is that the amount of water dropping day-by-day, because of people. To explain it more clearly, people are using water without considering about their future life. For example, each year about 300 million people die in India, because they have not enough water to drink. Another important point is that, controlling water supply may be beneficial for improvement of health. To put it in detail, water can decrease air pollution and significantly improve health of population. For instance, Singapore is the cleanest and healthiest country in the world, because they safe water and waste it for essential items.
From another angle, some people believe that everyone should use fresh water as much as they want, without any strict controls. First and foremost, in 21st century everyone has right to use and drink fresh water without asking. In other words, water is planet’s property, so no one can control it. For example, in US there are not any rules and controls to use fresh water, and people can use it without any limits.
To put it in a nutshell, for me it is clear that the government need to control and provide with strict rules, because people should safe fresh water for future generation.
