Many people have the belief and argue that is better to change organization during the working life. There are many advantages and drawbacks to work in the same companies or going to another one.
In my point view, there are huge range of factors in which people want to keep their current position the organization. In my personal experience, the colleagues can trust you compared to the new ones. For instance, the seniors could give more complex tasks improving your transparency in front of the managers. Furthermore, staying in the same place the amount of holidays can grow. For me, the first year I was having 1h of holiday per month. Then, they become the triplicated and now, I have 3h per month of vacations.
On the other hand, some people have the preference to change the company where they want to work. One of the biggest advantages is that the salary can grow up in a exponancial way. In my own life, I saw some developers have around 100k per year as salary to grow until to 330k changing organisation every two years. Another factor to consider is that is impossible to have personal relationships with colleagues that are changing companies a lot. For example, in the office where I’m working the major part of my full-remote colleagues change job each month and become impossible to meet them in the company team buildings.
Overall, there are advantages and disadvantages to change work and offices during the worklife. However, the advantages to stay in the same organisation for a lot of years is better for the factors mentioned before.
