A nearly full extinction happened in several animal species, and a number of them are also facing the same problem dramatically. The main causes of this issue are rapid climate change and manmade hunting, and it seems that a government-sponsored animal preservation campaign as well as increasing public awareness program would be a viable solution to this problem.
The principal causes of wildlife extinction are the unprecedented change in global atmosphere and hunting by human. The global warming has resulted in a great amount of land being swamped ocean water due to the rise in sea levels, and therefore many rare animals living in those areas are being extinct. Furthermore, many people still tend to hunt wild animals illegally, and sell their meat in the black market. For instance, a group of hunters in Bangladesh are highly involved in deer poaching in the Sundarbans forest, which has been regarded as the main reason this species losing existence in the territory.
The most practical solution to this problem would be to establish animal preservation firms and raise public awareness. Governments should initiate proper animal hotspots where zoologists will work to protect these species by proper breeding systems and food arrangements. One example of this type of program is the wildlife elephant protection center campaigned by the government of Bangladesh. Moreover, increasing awareness amongst people about the importance of these animals for a balanced echo system would be another possible solution to this issue.
In conclusion, the adverse of climate change and illegal hunting by people resulted in a variety of wildlife creatures in extinct, and governments should make preservation programs and public awareness campaigns to protect them.
