Few students prefer to devote their time to gain some working experience rather than getting into a university. There are many negative and positive aspects to this notion which will be stated further.
Several young learners look for exploring different options before enrolling for higher education, that is why opting for a job seems a great option to them. This helps students to have a better exposure and experience in the corporate world. For instance, one can understand the value of money, time management, achieving deadlines and many more attributes while working. Moreover, in today’s era, everyone wants to gain financial stability as soon as possible to fulfill their wishes on their own.
On the other hand, earning at such a young phase may lead to many problems as well. Firstly, it may affect their zeal towards pursuing higher education because of job satisfaction. For example, after schooling my elder brother joined a hardware store for a part-time job; However, after sometime joins full-time and leaves the idea of enrolling into a college. And, now after a decade of working in the same position he regrets quitting college very often. Secondly, it is not really a great example for society as everyone should finish their formal education to achieve their dreams and sustain a better lifestyle.
In conclusion, the idea of working in some organization or elsewhere is quite common among the young audience right after graduating from school. One should take into consideration all the advantages and disadvantages of this phenomena and then make a rational choice.
