Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the most shops opened in 2011, while the lowest number was shown in 2018. The least shops closed in 2015 and the highest level of closure was in 2013.
As line graph depicts, 2011 year started with 8500 newly opened facilities and the figure decreased dramatically to 4000 in 2012. In the next two years, there was an upward trend while the number leveled off at 4000 again in 2015. The trend experienced a minor increase in 2017. However, it declined noticeably to 3000 in 2018.
The amount of closed stores fluctuated between 6000 and 7000 from 2011 to 2014 years. After that, it plummeted to less than 1000 in 2015. Nevertheless, the trend surged up to 5000 in the following year and varied only minorly until 2018.
