A minority of people are stressing governmens to invest in research to look for life on other planets. Conversely, a group of people disagree with this statment, because they believe it is a waste of money nd resources and the earth is already facing a great number of obstacles.
Firstly, the investent into research about discovering new life on other planets may be beneficial for us humans, as several new planets may be discovered with a superior resources than what our planet earth has to offer this will increas the welfare benefit and ehnace our living standards.For example, all bodies of water may be fresh and not salty, decreasing the costs of clering up conaminated water and reduce the levels of sickness among humans.
In spite of this, another group of peole argue that spending money on such research is rather pointless when there are a large sum of problems either arising or already existing such as, polution and its many forms that are causing severe illness and in extreme cases leading to cancer.Therefore, the goverments money should be used wisely and consideration of peoples needs need to be taken into account.
In my opinion, i believe that, the quality of life on earth shoul be improved and enhanced first. For instance, creating campgians to eliminate the air pollution cuased by many factories, then consediring if investing money on finding life on othr planets is necessary or not.
To conclude, it can be seen that, both point of views have convicing advantages and disadvantages but, the view thatis most pratical should be prioritiriesed.
