In today’s world, it is widely believed that music should be taught to students as an obligatory subject in high school, while others argue that studying music is such a waste of precious study time. In this essay, I would like to discuss both sides and provide my own opinion.
To begin with, students should learn music lessons since this can positively affects learners’ lives in the future. One major reason for this is that their instructors can discover students’ potential in music so they can give them a proper education and good which might help the students in their future . According to research, most well-known musicians started by showing early aptitude for music. Additionally, music is considered to be spiritual food which is able to heal mental health and boost motivation for . By studying music, students are able to relax and recharge after a whole day of studying difficult subjects at school.
On the other hand, when taking too many music courses, students are likely to have time for crucial subjects like mathematics, physics, and chemistry at school. These subjects are pivotal for students’ future occupations especially for those who want to become a doctor, a chemist, or a physicist. They must devote more time to these subjects rather than studying music. In addition, following the path of a musician or a singer a good idea since these jobs have short . For instance, a doctor can work until hor or she is around 55 or 60 years old, but when they retire, they can still cure patients at home to earn money. As for singers or , when they reach a certain age, probably 3540 old, their talentability to sing or compose fantastic songs will decrease, in money over time.
In conclusion, taking music as an obligatory subject at high school both advantages and disadvantages for students. From my perspective, it is crucial for the school’s management to allow their pupils to learn music, but for a reasonable number of lessons.
