In many companies, CEOs and high-level executives receive much higher salaries than normal employees. Some people think this is unfair, but I believe it can be reasonable in some situations.
One reason is that CEOs have more responsibilities and have to make difficult decisions. For example, if the company is losing money or having problems, the CEO has to find a way to fix it. They also need to think about the future of the company and make plans. Because of this, they can have a lot of stress. So, it makes sense that they are paid more than regular workers.
Also, good leadership can help the company grow and make more profit. If the CEO does a good job, the whole company can benefit, and maybe more jobs can be created. On the other hand, most workers only do their specific job and don’t make big decisions. This is why there is a big difference in salaries.
However, I also think that the gap between the top and bottom should not be too large. If workers feel they are not treated fairly, it can cause problems like low motivation or quitting. Companies should give bonuses or rewards to hard-working employees so they also feel valued.
In conclusion, I agree that CEOs should be paid more than normal workers, but the difference should not be too big. All workers should be treated with respect and given chances to grow.
