Men and women in full time jobs should be able to share the responsibilities of house chores. I believe when this is done it brings about peaceful coexistence, strengthens husband and wife relationship and prevents petty quarrels. This essay will elaborate on the reasons above.
To begin with, sharing of house chores by both husband and wife improves the peaceful nature of their home. The man sees reasons to help the wife in chores such as cooking and washing or even help in preparing kids for school. For example northern men will always oppose helping their wives at home because they feel it is the woman’s responsibility which affects peace and stability in most households because the woman also works and equally gets tired too.
Secondly, husband and wife who do household chores to together stay together emotionally and sexually. It makes their bond strong because the man understands that the woman is a human too and needs help. For example when both are done with their evening chores after work they get to have some small time for themselves before going to bed.
However, if a man sees no reason to help his wife at home and is always the woman going up and down after work brings about unresolved issues as a little mistake by the husband can annoy the wife and escalate into a big deal. Most men always want to sit and relax while the woman does everything. This is very annoying and can disrupt the peace that should be existing between them.
