Overall, the majority of users chose Facebook and Twitter over the period. Additionally, there was a downward trend in Facebook, while the opposite was true for other socials.
As can be seen in the charts, The users of Facebook had the larger percentage among all five categories at 59% in 2011. This figure not only decreased to about 50% in 2012 but also a third in 2013. In contrast, despite accounting for the same rate at 5% at the outset, there was a slight increase to about triple in Pinterest and 8% in Google+ at the end of the period.
On the other hand, the proportion of Twitter made up 21% in 2011, then rose to 23% one year later and 25% in the last year. Similarly, in the first year, although only 10% of people used LinkedIn, this rate climbed by 5% in the final year.
