Overall, this comprises 11 steps, starting with transferring used cans and culminating in the production of new cans which takes a total of six weeks to finish. It is noticeable that the seventh step can be considered the most essential one in order to produce recycled cans.
Initially, old aluminium cans are collected and delivered by a truck to a recycling factory where these cans are deposited. After that, the cans are washed thoroughly under water, which presumably eliminates dirt inside them. At this stage, cleaned cans are crushed into a block and later are transferred to a processing stage. Upon arrival, chemicals are utilized to erase these cans to possibly ensure hygiene.
Next, the treated cans are heated with fire to transform into liquid which is later poured into a mold having a bottle shape. Then, these new cans are carefully weighed before passing through a rolling machine. Subsequently, these new cans are ready to be reused.
