In today’s world, smoking has become a major reason for number of serious deseases. Therefore , list of countries have enforced laws and regulations discourage to smoking in public areas, while other countries are neglecting this situation. In forthcoming paragraphs I will discuss both sides of this controversial topic.

On the one hand, there have valuble benefits for several groups. Firstly, by enacting laws and against smoking in public, can be reduce the passive smoking among people. Specially, when someone using traditional cigarettes in middle of the people, other people also smoking unintentionally while breathing which is more dangerous for lungs. Secondly, it also prevent individuals in certain amount from cancers which suffer due to smoking. As an example, if someone take five cigarettes per day, by enacting this law it may decrease to two. Finally, public places such as workplace or hotels and restaurants should make pleasurable and welcoming environment for all. By enforcing this law no one make uncomfortable due to unpleasant bad smell of cigarettes.

On the other hand, some of countries bare contrast idea from other and they do not rely on this matter. A one reason is, they introduce alternatives such as an e- cigarette for traditional tobacco smoking which less harmful than former one. Another reason is instead of enacting laws, these countries introduce some specific places for smoking. As an example, nowadays even a small restaurant have specific location called smoking area for smokers.

As a conclusion, although some countries practice more lenient methods introducing alternatives regarding the issue of public smoking, I firmly believe that government should control this situation in certain degree using law considering the negativities of smoking.
